Life is full of what I call pivotal moments. In my judgment, it is easy to go along through life unconscious to what every moment has to offer us. Today, after a snow filled night, I took the garbage out to the road where I was met by a neighbor. This is no ordinary neighbor, this is an elderly women probably in her late 70s. We have lived in our house for about 3 years and I have never seen her. She was sweeping the snow off her sidewalk when she looked up and said, “Well hello there” and giggled.
This may not seem like anything special yet it was pivotal for me. It immediately flashed the lesson of every moment has the potential to be pivotal in our life. Thoughts of my grandmother came flowing through my mind and the wisdom in her words. Then then energy of gratitude and purpose came flowing through my body. I felt her love by those three words.
Make today full of pivotal moments for your life. Life is what you make of it. Make it happen.
