During a transition time within my personal and professional life, Nick and Rachel came into my world. A true sign of synchronicity! From the first adjustment, I knew this experience would be different. Nick shared his wisdom about the science and spirit of chiropractic work, while Rachel glowed with the essence of serving others. Their work with my physical body and spiritual journey gained traction quickly. An immediate bond of wellness was created, which was the glue that kept me returning three times a week.
 
The monthly fee for wellness treatments was an excellent way to maximize the effectiveness of my visits. Recently, my youngest son was visiting over spring break. He had never been to a chiropractor and received immediate relief from a lower back nagging pain. Nick and Rachel made him feel right at home, no fear.
 
Even though I have moved onto a new life in Cozumel, Mexico, I can maintain the learning gained from working with Nick and Rachel. I wish them abundance in their business in Durango.

When Nick and Rachel decided to move to Durango, I couldn't have been more excited. I have known Nick four and Rachel three years. I have NEVER known anyone to be so integritous. These people say what the mean and mean what they say! They truly live what they believe and they will never pretend they are perfect. I just couldn't believe I was going to get to have them in my day to day life! They are not only awesome people but they are master adjusters and have gone through so much to become amazing at what they do.

Chiropractic care and philosophy has been the biggest gift of my life. It has aided me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is not always easy to find a practitioner that can be there in supporting my life in all areas. Nick and Rachel DO. They are always available to help me remember to trust the process of life. They help me get back into my body and help me feel more like ME. I have needed that more than ever these past 15 months of raising a baby. Feeling ‘normal’ doesn’t come quite as naturally anymore and every time I step out of Serving Life Chiropractic, I feel reconnected to myself and my sanity. I also need help trusting that Toby is okay in his processes, as many a worried mother does. I feel listened to and cared for with Nick and Rachel. I never feel judged but only loved, supported, and empowered. These are two that know how to lift people up into their light. I have been in chiropractic care on and off for many years. As my pain levels fluctuated, so did my commitment to getting care. My only goal was to eliminate pain. When I was successful at that I would return to my life as usual until the next time that I required intervention to manage my pain.

Serving Life does not "make my pain go away." They don't even profess that "making my pain go away" is their goal. Nick and Rachel have undertaken the very formidable task of teaching me how to listen to my body and respond based on what I am being told. I am not a great listener, but even I am coming to understand that symptoms are my body's form of dialogue. If I can learn, with Nick and Rachel's help to interpret the message, I can learn to allow my body to do what it is designed to do. I no longer look at my chiropractic care as I would a pill to change my immediate situation. My chiropractic experience now is showing me the way to integrate all the components of my life, physical, spiritual, and emotional to be the healthiest person I can be.

One awesome side effect—my pain has diminished and everyday I try to make decisions that will help make the totality of my life better. I am so thankful that 3 generations of my family are allowing Serving Life to guide us to be our "best selves."

To explain all of the benefits I have gained by visiting Nick and Rachel on a regular basis would require me to write a novel. I literally get teary eyed when I think of all the ways my life has improved since I started receiving my adjustments from them. Finally I found true healers who took the time to actually teach, listen and give, which in turn allowed me to heal. And to think that my experience with them all started with a headache and lack of sleep. What a blessing that headache was.
